Texture Development
What Is Mold Texturing?
Mold texturing creates a controlled pattern on the mold surface to meet the product design requirement. The process is also commonly referred to as graining or etching.
Purpose of Mold Texturing
1. Appearance
2. Functional Performance
A textured product surface can improve grip and tactile quality while reducing the visual impact of scratches.
3. Mold Release Support
A smooth part can create vacuum adhesion in the mold cavity and hinder release. Texture creates small gaps in the cavity that can assist mold release.
4. Reduced Glare
Texture can reduce glare and gloss while improving the perceived surface quality.

Pre-Production · Design
Our development team combines years of mold-texturing experience with a library of over a thousand texture references. Digital pattern tools support continuous texture planning and 3D appearance simulation before mold processing.
